If you want other programs to send commands to ARSVCOM to control satellite tracking or to change your rotator direction, there are several ways this can be accomplished.

The simplest method is to create a virtual com port from ARSVCOM.

Once created, open it from the program where you want to control the rotator, e.g. TRX-Manager. On this virtual port, you set the emulation interface which will support your program. One of the best known is the Yaesu interface GS232 or the Prosistel “D”. By selecting this emulation and configuring it in your program, it’s all done.

In your program, you can select any speed, it is not a sensitive parameter, e.g. 4800, 9600 or 19200 are all ideal options.
