Elevation Inclinometer

After many tests and trials with different inclinometers, we have finally selected one that works 100% fine. From now on, we will have in stock as an option to the ARS-USB, an inclinometer which can be ordered separately. The inclinometer is one of the best options for homemade elevation systems based on an actuator – used in satellite TV. An actuator is a system with endless motor, which allows to manufacture very robust and powerful for elevation systems, and that through this inclinometer will feedback its position to the ARS (0 to 90º) The inclinometer use 3-wire:

  • Voltage: 5-30V
  • Ground
  • Position voltage feedback (0-5V)

The inclinomenter generates an output in volts (0-5V) proportional to the inclination it presents. Therefore it must be fixed into the elevation structure and inclinometer output will reflect his inclination. The selected inclinometer has the following characteristics:

  • Supply Voltage: 5-30V
  • Operating Current: 15mA
  • Measuring Range: 0-90°
  • Operating Temperature: -40 to 85°C
  • Accuracy at 20ºC: +/- 0.3 °
  • Weight: 24gr
  • Size: 46 x 39 x 10mm
